This fall, a regular customer at Kitakata Ramen Sakanai Chofu Branch was ranked up to "Legend" for the second consecutive year. "Legend" is a title given to customers who visit the store 250 times in one year from the date of registering the app. This customer visits Kitakata Ramen Sakanai almost every day, sometimes twice a day, making it a part of their daily life. Surprisingly, the customer who achieved this for two consecutive years was 79 years old (at the time of the interview), and reached "Legend" again in November 2023 and mid-October 2024. Only two people have been born as "Legend" so far. We invited him to a "Ramen Entertainment by the President" as a rank-up privilege, and we were able to hear his passionate thoughts about Sakanai and his valuable opinions.

Kaigo Kaigo (app name), the first person to achieve the "Legend" title at Sakauchi Mobile Club, has been taking the 20-minute bus ride to the store almost every day since before the Chofu branch moved to its current location. During a ramen reception, I was able to hear directly from him that the essence of being a Legend is not only the overwhelming frequency of his visits, but also, above all, his active attitude and deep love for Sakauchi.

Kaigo One of Kaigo's legendary points is the improvement of his condition. When he first started coming to Sakauchi, he was suffering from early-stage diabetes, but as he became fascinated with Sakauchi's ramen, his numbers improved. His favorite dish is the "Negi Ramen" with plenty of spicy scallions tossed in a special sauce. He seems to enjoy it with a light soup and soft noodles. He said that he takes his dentures off when he eats, but one of the reasons he has been a long-time patron of Sakauchi is that he can enjoy the soft, simmered, delicious roast pork and the chewy, flat noodles, biting them with his gums. Since he eats almost every day, he is sensitive to changes in taste, and sometimes he gives harsh comments such as "Today it's a little thin" or "Today it's a little hard," but these comments make us realize that the staff is growing every day.
