The "Fragrant Plum Soy Sauce Ramen," which will go on sale from Tuesday, April 16th, is a seasonal product that combines the mellow sourness of plums with plenty of fresh vegetables toppings. This product joined Sakauchi's seasonal limited edition ramen in April 2021, but due to many requests for it to be re-sold, it has returned for the first time in three years!

This homemade soy sauce soup was developed to bring out the sweetness of the fat from Sakauchi's special roast pork, and is combined with roasted plum paste to create a rich soy sauce soup with a slight sourness. The flat, high-hydration, curly noodles, the greatest feature of Kitakata ramen, cling to the noodles well and make an excellent match. The fresh vegetables piled high like a mountain include five kinds of shredded green onions, daikon radish, shiso leaves, lettuce, and mizuna. Finished with plum flakes, you can enjoy the accent of texture. The mellow sourness that spreads with each bite stimulates the senses, and you'll find yourself wanting to drink up the soup, making this an addictive bowl!
